DIRECT VOICE
NoTrace offers anonymous end-to-end encrypted direct over-the-Intern voice calls. Direct means there is no operator, and thus no middleman metadata. In addition, NoTrace uses Tor for anonymization and does not use carriers’ push messages to preserve full anonymity. However, both parties must be online, and the receiving app must be awake. This is a small usability tradeoff, should the receiving party remain truly anonymous. Currently, this is the only over-the-Internet voice service available that is truly anonymous.
DIRECT MESSAGING
NoTrace provides serverless messaging and media sharing. Messages and media are sent directly from one party to another without an operator. This is the most private communication option available today. All information is end-to-end encrypted, and no operator-side metadata is generated, relying on Tor for anonymization. To preserve maximum anonymity, NoTrace does not use carriers’ push messages. This is a small usability tradeoff, meaning if the app is asleep, there could be a delay in receiving new messages.
COMMING SOON!
NoTrace is not only a privacy-centric, secure communication platform. There are other services, such as social media and a marketplace, that are being developed. NoTrace users will be able to broadcast their social media content to the Internet, monetize it, and advertise their goods and services — all in complete privacy. In addition, NoTrace is now Alpha testing a unique service that provides true anonymity when calling a regular phone network.

NoTrace never collects or stores sensitive information. It is free to use, with no ads and no affiliate marketing. NoTrace is offered as proprietary freeware, but the source code is open for auditing. However, since NoTrace is currently in beta, we do ask you to sign a nondisclosure agreement. NoTrace is intended for legal purposes only, such as for journalists and their sources, activists in repressive countries, and all other legitimate users for whom privacy matters. It shall not be used for illegal purposes. We stand for and support the freedom of speech for all people, as well as free and independent media.
